More Than Books—A Community of Biblical Encouragement
Over the years, God has reshaped my calling.
It started with writing books.
Today it’s become something much bigger.
I’ve realized weary believers don’t simply need another Christian book.
They need ongoing encouragement.
Someone who reminds them they haven’t failed.
Someone who keeps pointing them back to Christ.
That’s why MarkCOverton.Online has grown into a membership-centered ministry built around one simple mission:
Helping Still Believers stay encouraged every month.
The books remain.
The devotionals remain.
The Bible studies remain.
But none of those are the destination.
They’re tools that help us walk together.

My Story

After the Air Force portion, transition into:
Those quiet mornings with God eventually became books.
The books became conversations.
The conversations became friendships.
And today those friendships are becoming a growing community of believers who refuse to give up on Jesus—even when life is difficult.
I call them…
The Still Believers.
Why I Do This
Information has never been easier to find.
Hope has never seemed harder to hold onto.
Artificial intelligence can summarize books.
Generate devotionals.
Recommend Bible verses.
Explain theology.
But technology cannot replace:
A trusted guide.
A faithful companion.
A praying community.
Someone who reminds you that God hasn’t left.
That’s why I don’t simply publish books.
I walk alongside The Still Believers through ongoing biblical encouragement every month.
Who I Serve
I don’t primarily write for people shopping for another Christian book.
I serve believers searching for hope.
People who still love Jesus…
but whose faith has become heavier than they expected.
Many are:
• Busy parents
• Caregivers
• Ministry leaders
• Veterans
• Empty nesters
• Christians rebuilding after difficult seasons
Most aren’t looking for another argument.
They’re looking for someone who says,
“Let’s take your next faithful step together.”
Meet The Still Believers
One of the greatest gifts God has given this ministry is the growing community surrounding it.
I affectionately call them…
The Still Believers.
They’re ordinary people who continue trusting God through difficult seasons.
They pray for one another.
Encourage one another.
Read Scripture together.
Celebrate progress together.
And remind one another that God is still faithful.
Membership isn’t simply access to resources.
It’s becoming part of a community that understands what weary faith feels like.

Why Most of My Books Are Short
People often ask why I write concise books.
The answer is simple.
The people I serve are often:
- exhausted
- overwhelmed
- discouraged
- caring for others
- working full-time
- rebuilding after painful seasons
They don’t need another 300-page book to feel guilty about not finishing.
They need something they can begin today.
Something biblical.
Something practical.
Something that reminds them God hasn’t given up on them.
Every book is intentionally written to bring clarity, encouragement, and hope without adding more pressure.
What I Believe
I don’t believe pressure draws people closer to God.
Grace does.
Weary believers don’t need more guilt.
They need hope rooted in God’s Word.
Real spiritual growth usually doesn’t happen overnight.
It happens one faithful step at a time.
Most of all, I believe Jesus still meets tired people.
And His invitation hasn’t changed:
“Come to Me…and I will give you rest.”
